Now, between 2 spells, I can cast Draw followed by Shuffle or Royal Road or launch the card. Before I couldn't.
This. Love that it eliminates that previous pesky oGCD clipping. It makes Shuffle in particular a lot better to use, since before you had to wait for both the Draw animation AND the Shuffle animation to get the second card to come up.

It took me about a dungeon or so to get used to (mind you I also haven't played since like 3.2), but now that I'm more aware of it I think it's an excellent change.

Yea, I like this change. I can draw, shuffle/spread in a GCD which means I can shift more things up and it opens up new possibilities for me.

I dislike the change, because sometimes a single click of draw behaves as if I have clicked twice. I thought that it could be my mouse, but I've tested it in every other game I've been playing of late and none of them produce this kind of problem. At one point I thought that clicking draw (yes, I know, there are many of you who will balk at the fact that someone clicks anything still) and swiftly moving the mouse away was a fix to the issue, but I've since learned that the problem persists on occasion.

Question: Do you have your hotbar locked or unlocked? If it's unlocked then I could see this happening, since placing a skill after it has been moved will trigger the skill in some circumstances. I.e. You click it and simultaneously inadvertently move your mouse a fraction of a hairline and the skill gets clicked once, picked up, dropped back down, and triggered again. Locking the hot bar would prevent this if it is what is happening.

Yes, I have my hotbar locked. I almost wish it weren't, because then your suggestion might have been the solution I so desperately want. It might only happen to me once or twice in a dungeon, but it's still very frustrating to see cards go to waste.

Since making a macro for draw, I haven't had a problem. I use a mouseover macro for draw, so I can cast it on people without targeting them. But, this also makes it alot less likely to accidentally activate it.

And, I can still macro in discards with redraw without a problem. (I macro in redraw, followed by the commands to dismiss the drawn cards, so if redraw is on cooldown, the macro will dismiss any drawn card to start the cooldown on draw as soon as possible, but if redraw is available, it redraws the card normally)

Overall, I'm happy with the change, but it did take some getting used to.

    my draw macro:
    /micon Draw
    /autofacetarget off
    /ac "Draw" <mo>
    /autofacetarget on

    my redraw macro:
    /micon Redraw
    /ac "Redraw" <me>
    /statusoff "Bole Drawn"
    /statusoff "Spire Drawn"
    /statusoff "Ewer Drawn"
    /statusoff "Spear Drawn"
    /statusoff "Arrow Drawn"
    /statusoff "Balance Drawn"

Utility. Macros are a great thing. Honestly, if SE would give us a REAL macro system instead of this intentionally bad thing we have now, macros would be everywhere.
