FPS Drops on PC since 3.5 update...

Has anybody else been experiencing frame drops since the 3.5 update?

Before the update in all situations I got a solid 60fps (locked) except for the 50+ player Odin and S rank where I might drop to 50.

Now in towns that are no busier than usual I get around 45fps.

No reason why I should be getting such low FPS with my specs...

I've been having framerate problems with 3.5.

Pre-3.5 - Anywhere other than Idyllshire or loads of people (S Rank or Odin) - Rock solid 60 FPS.
Lots of people - 45-50 FPS with some minor drops here and there, but nothing terrible and fairly smooth.

3.5 - Fluctuating wildly in Foundation and Idyllshire is dropping to 20 or lower. I'm noticing that memory usage is higher in this patch. I would normally have about 1100 MB usage and I'd have to play for a while to see that. Now after being in-game for no more than 20 minutes it's hovering at 1600 MB.

    Troubleshooting done:
    Adjusting DX11 settings
    Changing all settings to low
    Changing between Fullscreen and Borderless
    Updating drivers
    Reinstalled game

I been having FPS problems since the last maintenance.

I have a GTX 980 and I usually run the game over 60fps, 120 in open areas, 60 in towns, 55 on crowded towns.

Today I was running a dungeon and everything was fine at 120fps when it suddenly dropped to 30fps. Finished the dungeon and made it back to idylshire and I was a 10fps.

I have a locked 70fps and I haven't noticed any dips, but one friend of mine mentioned that he is having dips below 60 in idyllshire, especially near rowenas place.
Should try to unlock the framerate and see if I can notice it that way.
I usually run games at higher framerates, but with MMO's resort to 70-80 most times.
Could be that idyllshire currently renders objects that are not even close to your line of sight after the changes and updates. That is just a wild guess though. Try to find that setting that forces it to avoid rendering things that are out of your sight. I think there was a setting like that, change that setting and see if it helps.
Should add the obvious thing. Try updating your drivers.

    Incase it makes a difference.

I had only few DirectX crashes on day 1. I notice only some occasional stutters after 3.5. Also I noticed all indoor shadows are broken whereas I didn't see that in all indoor areas before. I have same drivers (which are the latest Nvidia didn't release any newer ones after 3.5).

Hey, I also had a massive frame rate drop sometime after the 3.5 patch. Using the "Reset System Settings" in the launcher seemed to fix it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The only thing I've experienced has been longer than normal loading screen times for certain zones like Idyllshire, but I'm 99% sure that can just be chalked up to more people being logged in after the patch than before it. That said, I don't run an fps counter usually, so if I do get a dip then it's an unnoticeable one when not looking at the numbers.
