    Lift Me to the Moon

What dance do you need to do to get Linu Vali in Sea of Clouds to continue the quest chain?

I do /dance and he keeps saying it needs to be exotic. never seen before.

    Can't re-accept quest

    Hello everyone!
I cannot accept the quest again.

-- Sorry, I realized that I posted this in the wrong spot. I can't seem to delete it, though. --

My roulette queue popped while in a cutscene for this quest and I was the wrong class. I skipped the cutscene and did the roulette. But I wanted to see that cutscene (without having to finish the whole quest first to unlock it in the inn room), so I abandoned the quest with the intent to go pick it up again and start over.

But now, the quest is no longer there to accept. It seems that these special tribal quests are coded differently and probably more prone to bugs like this.

I've tried everything I can think of. I've put in a support ticket for it (twice) and I was told that this feature is "working as intended." Apparently I am supposed to permanently lose access to this quest and its rewards because I committed the unforgivable sin of temporarily abandoning it.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Or maybe a way to get SE to actually help me?

It's possible you did some or all of the following already but better to list it all out to be safe.

My first thought would be to make certain the quest was abandoned instead of accidentally completing it (or canceling the abandon) in the rush to get into the roulette. I would just my quest journal to make certain it is not listed as an active quest then click the Complete button. Use the Quest Search function with the keyword "Lift" to see if it comes up as completed (the search function is case sensitive so make certain you use the capital L).

If it is not showing as a current or completed quest, the next step is to confirm the last quest in the chain that was completed. It's easy to get confused when I've done a quest chain on multiple characters. The one immediately prior is "Who Was That Masked Man". Before that was "When Good Dragons Go Bad".

Finally, go back to the location where the quest is obtained. I know most of the quest takes place in Sea of Clouds, but it starts at the Convictory in Coerthas Western Highlands from the Vath Deftarm. Make certain you're using a combat job that's at least level 60. While usually quests will appear with the red lock icon if you're not on an eligible job, there are times it will not appear at all until you are. I don't know if this is one of those quests but better safe.

If you still haven't figured out the problem after checking those things, let us know. Perhaps someone can think of something else.
