Unable to perform version check: [30410] [30607] [20457] [410]

I've been trying to download the 3.5 patch for the last 40 minutes or so, using various fixes for other similar error codes to no avail. I haven't seen this particular code before and apparently no one else has, as the [410] part never comes up in my search for fixes.

I've tried pretty much everything aside from reinstalling the game [and let's be honest, who wants to do that and have it not change anything?], so if I can get a second opinion, that would be fantastic. Let me know if you need any other info from me. Dun Scaith is calling me, and I want to be part of the initial release wipe-fest. XD

I am having the same exact issue. I rebooted my ISP, I turned off my firewall getting the same errors. I dont know what to do. I cant even find out where to reinstall the game of MOGSTATION or LODESTONE. Any help appreciated.

Go to Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\ open up FFXIV_BOOT.cfg in word pad or notepad.

the line in bold is the key change the 0 to a 1 and it forces it to check version upon opening the launcher.

That did the job, thank you very much. ^^ I should note that the line you wanted in bold didn't format, so I'll make a note of it seperately in case anyone else gets confused.

The "BootVersionCheckMode" value should be set to 1, not 0, and that should do the trick.

I should probably have looked there in hindsight, but you know what frustration towards an issue can do to you. XD
