I'm having this problem too but only in raid zones. It's so frustrating.

    Windows 10
    Core i7 4970k
    asus maximus vii hero
    Asus 760 geforce - 4 gig

I'm using the lowest settings available within the game. "Standard Laptop" even... not sure what else to try.

Also getting this issue. "DX 11" errors and random crashes, with no particularly obvious trigger, although the Aftcastle area of Limsa Lominsa and Tam-Tara Deepcroft seem to be particularly prone.

Switched to the DX9 client and have since run into the same issues.

Running the latest Nvidia drivers, clean install using DDU.
    Nvidia GTX 1070
    I5 - 6600K (No current Overclock)
    16GB RAM.

Have reinstalled Final Fantasy 14, and have installed it to two separate drives.

Ya customer support has no idea what's going on. I put in a ticket and they just gave me general responses back that were no help. With so many people seemingly having the same issue, I'm surprised it hasn't been brought up in any official capacity. Sadly this will be the one thing that keeps me from subbing to this game. I can't keep reinstalling it every other day to fix this issue.

If you're using an Nvidia card, I rolled my drivers right back to 376.53 (as suggested further back in this thread) so far it appears to be ok.

If you want to give it a try I suggest using DDU to do a full clean of your current drivers in safe mode, then install the 376.53 version to see how you get on.

Make sure Windows 10 is not set to automatically update your drivers either.

I'll make sure to post again if anything does happen.

I noticed I'm getting similar errors. This has started happening after 3.5's update went active. As I never had this issue until then. As of now, I was in the process of exiting Palace of the Dead's exit before the next tier floors (90-100) when I got the error. Before that, it was heading to Idyllshire. About a few hours before that, I was zoning from Mor Dhona to Mist in front of my FC's house. Different errors, same effect. Tried to turn down my resolution to the lowest setting possible, and still giving me consistent multiple errors.

Used DDU, then went to nvidia website and there was no 376.53, but there was 376.33 so I DL'd that one. It was the version before 3.5 patch.

Hopefully it works for you. I'm on my second night of using those 376 driver version and so far no crashes at all. Dungeons, main towns, field, all ok.

Hopefully this can resolve the issue for some people.

Since the latest patch ive been experiencing the same problem, this is my first time posting to any forum site. this issue is becoming a very annoying. I've tried multiple solutions to stop this and no hope whatsoever. This includes reinstalling old drivers, lowering resolutions, windowed mode, etc. S.E. Please resolve this. its becoming unplayable at this point.

I’ve also been having the same problem since the latest patch. I’ve attempted the following:

I made sure Windows 10’s automatic driver update is disabled. I used DDU to fully remove and then install the following nVidia drivers:
    381.66
    378.66
    376.33
    364.51
    347.09

Additionally, with every driver install, I fully deleted and reinstalled the game.

I have a clean system, no MSI Afterburner or other add-ons installed. I tried loading the game with and without the Steam overlay.

As advised, I went into the 3D Settings of the Nvidia Control Panel and attempted the Power Management fix. I also went into the control panel > power options > advanced settings > pci-express and switched Link Settings to OFF.

I've tried every graphical setting, from high to low, different resolutions, fullscreen and windowed.

In every single instance, both DX9 and DX11 failed with the aforementioned drivers, settings, and re-installations. Occasionally I could load up a city or dungeon, but within 5 minutes the game would crash. Crashes were instantaneous when attempting to load a raid.

The game worked perfectly on my system since release - patch 3.5 broke everything.

This is unacceptable - so many people have this problem and there's no response! I have to cancel my subscription, and it's a real shame - I was looking forward to Stormblood.
