Ez fixes are Uninstal reinstal, download driver sweeper clear all old drivers for Nvidia and reinstall them, change to direct x9, reinstall windows or face reset windows, use the changes I listed above with vsync and bilinear and changing the direct x from the options menu, run in lowest setting in windowed mode, other options I heared that work is running something like diablo in the background then running ff14, it tricks the graphics card

Had this happen to me twice so far today. Both times when i exited a completed duty. Its not a driver issue, since nothing was flagged up on the reliability monitors.

Quick edit: Noticed, after just skimming over the other post, the DX11 seems to be area located, for exemple, Norit was in lavender bed and i was in lavender bed when i was farming A1S, so it's the same error code.
Could be some effect that are messed with the dx11 version of the client with the 3.5 update.

This issue also happening to me when I access Baelsar's Wall. It is happen on both DX9and DX11.

Now I can't do Expert roulette nor MSQ anymore... If this issue didn't fixed within this 2-3 days. I am thinking of unsubscribe then.

Still can't even launch the game on DX11. I can play it relatively fine on DX9 but I don't consider that a solution. I'm on W10 so DX autoupdates. I tried to run the one from the web to repair but nothing happened so I assume it's not broken. No issues in dxdiag. And really, no other game has issues, only this one. No issues scanning PC for corrupted files either. Reinstalling the game was huge pain but didn't fix anything (how I wish there was a file integrity check). Backdated to older drivers, nothing. I really don't know what to do anymore.

Ok I'm back and I remember how I fixed it, ff14 doesn't play well with Windows 10 and most graphics cards passed 960 for Nvidia everyone else having these problems need to see if this change helps the 3 changes(do all of these together not one at a time) are:

1.Change anti aliasing to off
2.texture filtering set to off
3.set anisotropic to 4x

Tried to change the setting as recommended above but it didn't change anything

The only solution I've found so far is to copy the game directory from a friend who has no problems playing the game. I even had trouble installing the game and playing it from the get-go. He has a DSL connection and I have Cable connection. From all of my research I think this is a general error the game puts out for multiple reasons, usually graphic based. My friend's video card is also way more powerful than mine and is Nvidia. I have tried every solution I've come across. When I download the game myself I'm unable to play with either DX11 nor DX9. It seems that people with similar issues have used VPNs and most of the time it works. My guess is because the VPN slows down your bandwidth it allows you to download the patches with no problem making me believe wherever they store the patch information for this game it is unstable because internet speed shouldn't be an issue when pulling files. My friend never has an issue playing the game. I have searched for a free VPN that works well but have been unsuccessful as of yet. I did manage to use one that throttled my speed from cnet but it had side effects and didn't resolve the patching issue because at that time I already had the game working again (from directly moving a copy of all the files from my friend to the directory on my computer) and didn't want to jeopardize its functionality. Its called "Free VPN by Jailbreak VPN". It connected me to Switzerland. After uninstalling it my internet speed was still being throttled because it installed some kind of network connection that I had to remove. If I knew of some kind of throttling software without side effects that would be my next choice for the next patch. Good luck everybody!
