Well I didn't get to everything yet, so...

MSQ

Called it!

Well... close enough. Nobody's prescient. (Except the scenario writers.)

Didn't expect Ilberd to kill himself for this though. I also didn't... well, I suspected Papalymo would sacrifice himself, but was hoping we were done with all the sacrifice plays.

Either way... Ilberd being the Griffin, him being the final boss on Baelsar's Wall, the attack being a false flag operation (though not the exact angle - how the hell was I supposed to suspect the Resistance had a bunch of Alliance uniforms conveniently ready?), the dead soldiers' aether being used for the summoning, and Part I ending with the new primal's sealing in "White Dalamud"... I called all of it...

Bet it's Shinryu or some shit...

But...

God damn it... we can strike down false gods and true demons as morning exercise, but we can't stop one madman's stratagem to force open war with the world's superpower? And our comrade had to sacrifice himself to buy time? Like Minfilia I was not overly fond of Papalymo... he didn't get enough screen time to really endear himself to me, and what I did see of him was kind of... ehh... but even so...

Damn it, why...?

At least we had the option of refusing to let Papalymo sacrifice himself, though as expected it changed nothing. Of course I chose that.

I spent the rest of the day working on my Anima Weapon - damn glad I got the 3 dungeons and 15 pneumite before fighting Zurvan and doing Dun Scaith. It really freakin' bites when you go to 10 hour shifts on patch day... I'll get to Zurvan tomorrow and Dun Scaith over the weekend. And get back to the political debate on Garlemald's ethics and morality, if people are going to drag it in here.
