At the Wall appears that Laurentius is having 2nd thoughts on his actions and that of the rogue braves
Arrise old thread!
So, I finally went to Little Solace to see what the Sylphs had to say about the new moon...and nothing. So I went to go look at it and found Thancred, Yugiri, Yda and Pipin at the Spire. They don't have much to say, but I didn't see anyone else mention them here...(and sorry if someone did!)

Its probably not new but I revisited Ala Mhigo and the Old guy who is in charge had a bit more to say about Yda's father. Sounds like he was one of the main leaders of the rebellion against the King just prior to Garlean invasion and tried to fight of the Garleans but lacked the forces to mount any real defence. It would be understandable why Yda would hide that connection while she was young and why certain characters seem to think she has a significant role. The daughter of a national hero would be quite the rallying point.
I can already see Papalymo dying already. The narration so far has been treated as a past tense letter to someone, most likely Yda, and I am guessing it may lead Yda to taking up a new responsibility for Ala Mhigo that result in her leaving the Scions permanently so she can focus on helping her people.
Of course this would continue the plot of the Scions slowly disbanding over time now but would lead to a interesting opening for the WoL to become a true Adventurer but have his or her memories and experience as part of the Scions become something meaningful in his or her life. Maybe even one day have the WoL reflect on his or her memories with the Scions as a important story moment for a time in a future storyline when the Scions are no longer part of WoL's life and he or she is traveling with a new group that replace the Scions.

I am still wondering... Didn't they at some point say we would learn more about Silvertear in 3.x? It's 3.5 and we haven't learned all that much about it unless they have decided not to show that anymore?
If it isn't revealed in the second half of 3.5 then it may be something pushed into 4.0 instead or...just abandoned as a plot point entirely. Some stuff appears to have been cut out of the MSQ - 3.1 felt very short, for instance, and ended rather abruptly without showing what happened to the unhinged priest loyal to the Archbishop's cause. Instead we got some obscure dialogue in the Brume to explain it away instead. The Warring Triad stuff was also cut away from the main storyline which - unfortunately - left that somewhat rushed in parts too; with little to no voice acting.
I wanted to hear more of Regula's alluring voice!![]()
