What Type Of Guild Are You In?

Family only in our FC. That's how it's always been in any game we've played for the most part. We have a nice group of four right now for a perfect Light Party. That's all we really want--to be able to get each other through the group content (though we're dreading the Full Party stuff we know is coming), since we're all more into the solo content than the group stuff. Totally not interested in pugging or even interacting with anyone else.

I joined a few FCs here and there but right now i'm completely solo, they were mostly a chat hub and barely played together, if at all.

Nothing against anyone who just want a place to chat with people but i really wanted a FC or a group who plays together regularly even if it's for something simple like a roulette, lvling alts or just a random CT run. Sadly i wasn't able to find a FC with the same mindset aside from statics for savage content, which currently doesn't interest me.

Solo.

My guild is technically my Linkshells now. Sure I don't have access to the things that come with owning a FC house but I can't say I'm missing out on too much. I have an appartment at least.

Tried a big FC once. One of those 'tight-knit family oriented' FC's that they always try to advertise themselves as. Basically you have all these social circles of people in there that they will only talk to. So basically you have to join them already knowing someone so you don't wind up feeling alone in a big city. And no matter what, there will always be inevitable drama in them.

And then I get the small FC's with the starry-eyed leader who are usually trying to build or rebuild the FC from past drama and you quickly wind up finding yourself in a position of power within that FC. Conned into being in charge of recruiting and making events and all that while the leader mostly likely will disappear for months at a time and then come back like nothing has happened.

That stuff is the reason I can handle the random FC invites I get from walking through the cities. Puts a smile on my face when I get one and get to decline them though~

I used to play in a solo FC for the longest time (rank 7, XD) because I needed the extra storage for crafting.

Then I ran into a couple of nice players in hunts and eventually joined their hunts.

They are a small FC, but are very active (active chat with plenty of FC activity). And the players are very nice.

I'm in a social hub guild where all of us have different motivations, goals and personalities.

It seems silly for a goal to not have one clear purpose but when you think about it, loneliness is the worst thing on a game and fun is probably the true successor.

I've always wanted a crafting/gathering guild but my current guild has made me reach out to do things beyond my scope and has kept me loving the game regardless

An FC made by people I know in real life.
It is the "Be yourself" type of FC. Lots of weird/funny situations happen there.

Social I guess? Everyone's really into gathering or crafting, and it's set up so gatherer's can help by filling the FC chest with stuff the crafters need, and crafters craft gear/food for when a raider or gatherer needs it.

And about half the people have all their Classes at 60 for casual progression. We do raids, Savage, roulettes, dungeons with our newbies... Really it's sort of a "does anyone have ideas today?" kind of thing haha.

That's so true! Tbh, my solo FC would be unbearable if I had started out that way, just by myself, barely knowing anyone.
The only reason I can do this is because I already have a network of friends that I can communicate with all the time through linkshells and tells
