Small group of friends. Some new players, some mid-tier to high end raiders, a few self-sufficient crafters. Everyone's usually just looking for a good time.
Most of us were refugees from a game in which I sincerely hope the SE staff will never ever attempt to emulate in terms of gearing design decisions. And by 'refugees' I mean some of us were actually official forum moderators/minor community managers of sorts for that game, and somehow 4/5 moderators eventually ended up setting sail for FF14 over a period of two years.

I never fit into other FCs so I made my own.
It's anywhere from casual to midcore, just a small group of people I managed to get together that I run along with my husband. I don't want to be one of those FCs that already has small cliques of people that talk to each other and not newbies so much and then claim they're a social, active FC. We help each other out and have fun, that's that.

Officer in a casual/mid-core FC. Started off as 4 friends, but now we have a pretty good mix of people. Some of us raid but a good deal are more of the social persuasion. I manage airships for the most part and give peeps free pass to the workshop. Usually people are on between 4pm-10am depending on irl. The usual evenings consist of chilling and killing of some degree.

What she meant to say; Our fc is the best at finding/spawning A/S ranks and then pulling them.Small group of friends. Some new players, some mid-tier to high end raiders, a few self-sufficient crafters. Everyone's usually just looking for a good time.

Solo. This game's community is just too toxic to enjoy any kind of tight-knit camaraderie.

Solo FC.
From 1.0 to 3.3, I've been in 2 bigger social guilds (30-40 active members) and one small one with close friends (5-6 people),
but the inevitable interpersonal drama I was either forced to watch or even unwillingly became part of tired me out.
October last year it all became too much and I founded my own one, and it's been so relaxing and calm since then..<3
Guild of 2, my RL wife and I, and a couple of my alts. Only time it is an issue is if I need to do something in the workshop..... Why is that a thing anyways?
Can we make that not a thing?

FF14? Toxic community? We must be playing different games, mate. FF14 community is far from toxic compared to like any other game ever. Lol its gotten to the point where people are TOO nice here that if you try to call someone out for poor performance you're called and elitist. But w/e.
Back on topic
My guild is a raiding FC where yes, we all have statics but most of us love to help our greenleaves get their savage and ex clears. We usually do A9-10S for our ducklings (not 11s and 12s for obvious reasons) on the weekend. Other than raiding though, we do a lot of things together like dungeons, pvp, maps etc. I love my FC.

Seeing as there's a chance this'll come up on the wrong character due to problems with the selection page...
Smallish FC of friends on Gilgamesh right now. Looking to potentially become more of a social FC eventually.
