I'm concerned about Aquapolis

I think what most people are concerned about when they say content is "dead' is just that it's harder to find people to do it with you.

Like for instance, I would really like to find 3 other people that want to do potd 50-200 with me! But, unless I just want to farm only the low(1-60) floors for experience points, it's not super easy to find anyone. Palace of the Dead does have some items that drop that are worth a hefty amount of gil. There is the mount for instance that sells for about 30mil on my server atm. However, even with a motivation like that, I still haven't seen any pf groups for it in a very long time (well none that fill that I've noticed or joined), nor have my linkshells or fc been interested. I even ask my friends and they aren't motivated to go and say it's not fun for them. I know it's a bit of a time commitment, but not nearly as much as learning some of the high end content. But I'd say the difference is that people don't really care about glamour items and gil as much as they do for actual gear for their characters.

But there is that new cross realm party finder now too with this patch? I guess it probably won't help for aquapolis though since you have to be in the zone for the portal? I'm not sure how that will work.

It's not dead. Several items that drop from there are still incredibly valuable. I run Aquapolis all the time with my FC mates.

If you think its dead.. maybe you're not playing with the right people or maybe you just dont enjoy it?

I still have lots of fun with it.

It's not as active as it was when it first dropped, but it's definitely found its little niche as something to do with your fc when everyone's worn out from more challenging content and just wants to kick back and nuke some mobs together for a while.

That's very true. I guess I'm a bit salty nothing major was updated for it.

Honestly I get your disappointment but this is the reality of limited resources. There is only so much time and staff they have to develop content so it limits how much they get done. Their big push seems to be the revamped Diadem that comes out in 6 or so weeks. Taking time off to do more with Aquapolis would mean cutting back on something else and they aren't going to give us any less than 2 dungeons, a trial and a raid so it would have to come out of some other encounter related content in the patch.

We have farm parties almost every night for Aquapolis in Tonberry, if not, is it so difficult to find 2-4 other people to run with you?

If yes, perhaps make a linkshell so that other people without connections, can form them?

I've been using Aquapolis as my main source of funding to get my FC a house. Wool top goes for around 6 mil here on Gilgamesh, no way I'm stopping any time soon, especially if they're adding more stuff that might be worth that much on the marketboard.

I love Aquapolis. It's a gamble.
