Hello dearies

So, I'm the type of person who likes to collect mounts and complete achievements. I also pride myself in performing/behaving well in duties, and a while ago I got the achievement for 3k commendations. To my disappointment, I found that the parade chocobo you get as a reward was very very VERY bland. Considering that it's the last reward you can get with comms, it should have been better imo/:

Now I'm wondering, will they ever add more rewards for player comms? I know I'm sad I don't have anymore to work towards, but I'm not going to stop being polite in runs.

I'm sure they'll add more, but they're probably watching the amount of comms too to find a point when it makes sense (rather than adding a new tier for 100 people approaching, add one that 10,000 are approaching). I did try to google search it but maybe my googlefu is bad.

Perhaps they could add a parade abilities to the chocobo? Throw out little sparkling things, some fireworks, etc. Just make sure cooldowns are reasonable so you can't kill the screen lol.

I'd love to see more tiers added, but they'll probably have to add some incentive to GIVE comms, too, since it seems like people just rush out of runs and don't bother a lot these days.

I was personally hoping the Parade Chocobo would be something more akin to the way the Wedding Chocobo looked, but a bit more colorful (and be a 2-seater considering it's a reward for group content). Was kind of disappointed that it was just another fat Chocobo and now I have no other reason to care about the comms I get since other people can't even see that.

I'm currently at ~2300 commendations, so I still got some way to go until 3000 but I'm getting there.
Ofc im working towards that achievement but I'm also not that excited because, well, as you've already stated, it's just another fat chocobo.

I wish it was a fancier, unique type of mount kinda like they did with the mentor mount.

As for commendation rewards, I sure wouldnt mind having some more added to the game but at the same time I'm scared what kind of requirements it will take.
Knowing SE, the next achievement may take 10000 commendations to reach. And the reward might just be another let-down. Or it might actually be awesome and make me impatient because
I know it will easily take me 2-3 years before achieving that amount of commendations.

Yeaaah, I must admit that a fat chocobo didn't exactly come up in my mind when hearing the word "Parade" either.

But to be perfectly honest: I at first didn't expect a reward for getting commendations at all and treated them as a simple:"Thanks for the game!" from another player and consequently am fine not getting any good, or any rewards for them.

I highly doubt they're going to add new rewards. Parade Chocobo is still one of the top 5 (or at least top 10 anyway, I haven't checked in a while and I'm too lazy to do it now) rarest mounts and it's been out for... what, 2 or 3 years now? I don't see them adding another one for quite a while if they ever do. I don't even know if anyone has hit 10k coms yet. I know someone who is close, though.

Since we are usually on the bottom of the list I always give to the other dps unless they are just really bad, then I make a judgement call on tank or heals.

Brds who do not sing (as a caster I seldom get foes), smns who do not use dots, blms who do not enochian, nin or mnk who do not use stances or dots, mcn who use bishop on single targets and out of range to do dmg anyway. That sort of thing gets no comm from me.

I would love more incentive to give/get comms too. I was disappointed to see another ugly fat choco for the mount and the crown and gown just go straight into the armoire for 99.99999% of players anyway it seems as you never see them glammed. Feni I think should have been the 3k award instead of 1m mgp or at least something fun and unique like that.

After 3k comms, you should get a glowing chocobo that flies! That is a serious achievement. Glad to hear you are going to continue your good demeanor towards others.

As far as I am aware this is the only way to get a Fat Chocobo with out spending money....
