    (except for the "standards from 50 years ago" part, because we absolutely do have standards today too, you can't just show up to your job in your clubbing outfit,
    unless you WORK at a nightclub..but no one will stop you from showing up to your tanking duties in FFXIV wearing only a bikini, if you want that)

    Well if you want to be childish and do things out of spite that's on you..^^
    You obviously do feel defensive about your glamour choices though, otherwise why would you even be replying to this?
    If you don't care what I think, let me call your outfit boring all I want, since it's nothing to you, isn't it?
    Actually, now that I think about it, I'd love it if you glamoured all your gear in a certain way just because of me..( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
    (Just joking, don't take this too seriously)

    I absolutely agree; it's frustrating for glamour enthusiasts that it's only about twice per expansion that we actually have seperate sets for each class (and when we do, gearing up is a nightmare, even though it allows for more glamour options).
    The lack of dyeability for most gear is a problem too and I know not everyone has the motivation to farm content for a long time just for glamour either.
    And, if course, some pieces just are more visually pleasing to the majority than others so it's natural they are worn more often.

    But just because it makes sense does not mean I don't find it boring and therefore a waste of potential ._.

    @no one in particular:
    I just really like interacting with other players based on their glamour, I made most of my ingame friends through our shared love for glamour;
    and I love seeing an interesting, unique piece in someone else's glamour that I want to use to and build my own glamour around (yes, I'm usually at the max limit for gear sets..xD).
    Even when it's things I could never see on my own character, it's just wonderful to see the careful craft that went into doing something that fits their specific character perfectly,
    in a way that is more than just "sexy catgirl showing off her sexual organs as much as possible". But hey, it's not like I'm calling for a ban on certain glamours or anything xD
    I just feel sad when I see it, and if you feel happy seeing your character that way, good for you. Doesn't change my feelings though.

    There's a time and place for everything. Even without a strict uniform, expectations are to be made as per the occupation and the image the company wants to uphold.
