Why are most players content with putting on generic glamour?

1, because my boyfriend made this for me when it was worth 70M, he could have sold it but he gave it to me instead.
2, because this is as close as I can get to dancer until SE (if ever) releases it.

Also, my character, ironically is far from generic, I get compliments all the time "Oh I rarely see a Hyur like yours!! SO PRETTY" meh, who cares dude..do what you wanna do and let others do the same, its a game and glamour lol.

I wear "generic" outfits for me. Not to appease you. I didn't even know the glamour I use was common at a point. And when I do see it I go "oooo Nice outfit". Because well. ITS NICE )O)

My miqo'te has a dark brown skin and it's like super-rare. I don't meet other miqo'te using this color.

I tend to use whatever I get from dungeons as glamour pieces. Those pieces feel truly unique to me because they are hardly ever used for glamour as far as I've seen. I actually went out of my way to get matching glamours for healers and mage dps, with the only difference being the color palette used (Plaguebringer and Plaguedoctor coats are a pain to farm for btw).

That said, my current mage dps glamour uses the Yaefemi Coat of Casting, which I hadn't seen much before I used it as a glamour piece and suddenly pops up way more than I'd like and makes me feel less unique. i'm considering just switching back to my old glamour because no one I've seen is using something similar and I look damn cute in it. >_>

I very rarely see dark brown skin at all in-game (JP server) other than the occasional male Roegadyn. Your Miqo'te is really cute. I can't stop watching the GIF :/

Lmao right? I made it as generic as myself irl, tan, blonde hair, huehue~ but its w.e cuz I like it and I like the look irl lol works for me! Everyone has their own reasons for their characters. That's mine whee, could care less how rare I am lol.
