    Game is still too new, comparitively using the existing model created for FFXI (lets not kid ourselves we all know that game set the standard.) FFXI > Rise of the Zilart > Chains of Promathia > Treasures of Aht Urgahn > Wings of the Goddess > Seekers of Adoulin >>> ect. This game is here >>Treasures of Aht Urgahn<< we'll finally start to see some real high level content, the Naga are back!! We beat Alexander!!, and look we're under water again... Also Nyzul Isle.... Perhaps there will be a decent "endgame" raid but don't hold your breath 4.0 is your golden hour raiders enjoy the soft content while you can. History always always repeats itself and smart money bets next expansion we go back in time, possibly to prevent the destruction of a few countries or at least meddle in it. Even WoW was not immune to the model they went back in time last expansion. Also Azys Lia is a dead on replica of both Sea and Sky though it looks like they're still constructing the Absolute Virtue using the aether of the warring Triad. Maybe they'll throw us a bone and let us beat on Seraphim between 3.5 part 2 and Stormblood.

    Yes, I would expect to see more done with the Diadem, and PotD, and my personal preference would be for more relic-like quests, as well as more riddle-based content (or, at least, fairly complex logic puzzles -they would be easier to generate in an automated fashion) that would actually require some thought (it wouldn't be a bad idea if they gated savage raid clears behind such puzzles too -it would make raids much more interesting).

    And no, I can’t consider one-offs with no replay value (logs, achievements etc) or stuff you would do before even completing previous MSQ lines (such as crafting and gathering) to be “endgame”.

    slightly off-topic: About avoiding (savage) raiding, it’s not always about the (perceived) difficulty.. just an example: how about preferring not to be complicit in breaking the ToS? (look at your immediate environment, any server, and see how many groups did the raids without cheats/3rd-party reverse engineering (parsers etc).
