Nah, tomes aren't the problem. PVP is a huge learning curve and most people simply don't want to be bothered with it. Even those that give the mode a try tend to get turned off by people screaming at them.PVP as well, so glad PVP is getting some love. Would love some standard PVP scenarios though, PVP is fun in this game so would like more variety.
Would be good if the older PVP modes had updated tomestones for completion though. The whole reason people do not run the older modes is because they have less tomes for cap ><, also not counting the lack of abilities XD.
What are you on about?
With each patch, we get a minimum of:
- One large raid (either 8-man or 24-man)
- Two BRAND NEW dungeons
- One 8-man boss fight (primal/MSQ)
- Thoroughly voiced, well-written MSQ quests
- Side quests
- Improvements to many systems
- Bug fixes
- Advancement of the Relic weapon
- Lots of new gear
Other enhancements have included: enhancements/additions to crafting and gathering, enhancements/additions to existing in-game features (e.g. Diadem, housing, the feast, camera), UI enhancements, new features, and more.
All of this comes on a remarkably consistent schedule of once every 3 months.
There's plenty to do.

Think you may have missed a key word here: endgame. What are you on about?

I think the issue here is how people define endgame. Since the OP wasn't specific its rather had to tell what she was complaining about the lack of.
Endgame takes a lot of forms and generally there is bound to be people who enjoy and don't enjoy different aspects of it. If we are being technical Endgame just means content that exists at max level after the completion of the Main Launch Story. My that definition many of the things that come out in every patch are endgame, even if you don't specifically enjoy them.
On another not, I would point out that usually EX weapons aren't obsolete when they first come out. I know many people who are still using Sophia weapons, particularly on off specs. Unless your clearing A12S getting better isn't that easy.

I feel like we've run into a paradox here.
For most of us, those don't last more then a few days (if not less), other then the usual time-sinks like relics or tome-grinding or the hardcore stuff like raiding... >x>With each patch, we get a minimum of:

I just don't understand this whole "post a Chore List" mentality people have when someone says they have nothing to do that interests them.
I may be mistaken, but endgame in my understanding is simply content added at the end of the existing content, for players to experience once they have completed all that pre-existed.
By that definition, all of what I stated counts as endgame content.
Based on what you and the OP are saying, though, you want WoW's massive, spanning raid tiers with 3-4 levels of difficulty and gear bloat. To which I say no thank you. I'll take my dress-up Barbie, beautiful encounters, and splendid storytelling any day.

can't say i will disagree but i think the compromise for these to work is that the savage raid should always give the best-in-slot stuff while the non-raid sourced (alternative to raiding endgame) max ilvl gear would be somewhat lacklustre in comparison
also they could give out titles for clearing savage again (like SCOB savage)
