    [SUGGESTION] Add some end-game content

    For all Heavensward there has been a marked neglect of endgame content, in all patches. The only things that would come close would be the savage raids (where, obviously, all of the dev team's effort went -and that's really great for maybe 10% of the playerbase (and that's a wildly exaggerated guess **) who did them in their release patch) and a "casual" grind for tomestone & token equipment (which, interestingly, even casual players are able to complete in less than 2-3 weeks by skipping to the next even-numbered patch -this easily translates to skipping 4-5 months of subscription, for those interested in the "business" perspective). Besides these, there's the extreme trials and the relic, whose rewards have always been rendered obsolete on release, seemingly by design.
    So, how about adding some endgame content?

    ** I find it most interesting that we never get even the most basic statistics, like how many characters did the savage raids in their release patch and the total number of characters in Heavensward for that patch. I guess it makes for good advertising hiding the fact that so few people care to do the content you pour your development team's efforts in; and, perhaps, a good display of self-delusion.

    Things to do at end-game:
    1 - Gather/Craft.
    2 - PvP.
    3 - Raid.
    4 - Leveling other jobs.
    5 - Minion collecting.
    Anything that of interest to a player could be considered end game.

    Gathering and crafting make Gils.
    Raid is to gear your main/sub jobs. Then maybe sell content/mounts to other players.

    Some players farm old content for glamour purpose. Wasn't there anything you've always wanted to get? After finishing MSQ you are free to farm it.

    There is also PotD. If you want to level other jobs.

    Back at 2.0 launch the tome gear and relic were equal in ilevel to the raid gear (i90). This led to complaints that there was no motivation to raid. In response SE bumped the raid weapon up to i95 and future sets of tome gear have required an upgrade item from the raids themselves in order to match their ilevel during progression patches.
    Since then we've rarely had other sources of max ilevel stuff. The first set of Ex primals gave i90 accessories in back 2.1 and the Diadem gave the possibility of i210 stuff in 3.1 although these were both catch-up patches as opposed to progression.

    Personally I would love to see max ilevel stuff coming from lots of activities. Add a PVP set, let people grind out max weapons and armour with PotD, let the improved Diadem drop high level stuff, let the relic weapon match the raid weapon earlier, ect.
    However it seems like SE doesn't want to devalue raids during a progression patch so we're unlikely to see things outside of catchup ones.
    (Alternatively they could try adding content equal in difficulty to raiding to drop equivalent ilevel stuff during progression. I've seen calls for difficult small group content so there is certainly an audience. )

    I mean, what's wrong with raids as endgame? It works in most MMO's, including this one.

    Think more attempted raid than you might think. And those that didn't, presumably just didn't want to, as the bar was lowered considerably this tier. 9 and 10 especially are no more difficult than the primals, and I see pfs for them all the time, so people are obviously pugging them.

    I think the consensus had it around 25%.

    Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see more challenging content (there is very little that cant just be face rolled), but you diminish your argument if you misrepresent the facts

    The raids are a lot more accessible than Gordias this tier the clear rates are much higher for a9s and a10s. A11s is still a wall for some but it's not as punishing as earlier tiers, if you wanna raid it's now.

    As for other avenues for gear the new 24 raid is 260 gear + upgrading your 260 shire gear as well so there's that. As for other content to get gear from it's hard balancing it with current raid gear as the Diadem gear was ridiculously strong with the secondary stats and you just sat and afkd forever. If they do choose something I hope it's something that is challenging and doesn't discredit raiding there needs to be that fine line to make everyone happy.

    For the purpose of this thread, it would be helpful if you provided an actual definition of "Endgame" to work with, because for some, PvP or even glamour are "endgame", even if they don't fall under your implied definition.

    At a glance, I would guess it's stat progression, but /huh!

    We need more combat endgame of different type. Raiding might be good but for some people there is no time to form a static party. Many of us play at some hours others do not. Other people just don't like to the procedure to find a good 8 man party. We could use some diversity on combat endgame by introducing more 4-man party challenging content and solo content. Also raiding in 3.0 kinda failed in comparison with Coil in 2.X. No significant and compelling rewards and no exclusive story kinda killed it. The endgame is kinda flat and not enduring. I just want to see if 4.0 will do something about it. We could use some more variety and horizontal progression.

    I'd like to see more contents as well that keep me entertained until the next patch. Right now i don't have anything to do much since i don't do PvP or Savage, i don't consider crafting, gathering and leveling end game but just general content. I might try out Raiding later if i can gather enough people in my shell but until then any activity that i can tackle is more than welcome.
