DEV QUESTION - Is there any new info about transfering housing?

About a year ago we updated our FC from a small to a medium. In the process we lost our workshop of course and all the progress we had there in.


I remember around that time there was talk (not sure if it was official or not) of a system being worked on to allow transfer if such things to new houses when we move as well as keeping all destructible furnishings and as I understood it, ease of transfer (ie passing ownership of my personal home to my ingame/out of game wife).


Is this still happening? Was it ever happening at all? Do we have any details? Or maybe an ETA?

No info's been given and we'll likely have to wait until the European Fanfest to hear anything. I believe they were supposed to announce the new housing zone there and hopefully the moving goes along with it. I don't believe passing of ownership was ever going to be part of it, but honestly the most we've gotten is to the gist of "We want to make a move tool and if we do get it done, maybe between apartments and new housing." Unfortunately it'll happen (if it happens) when it happens.

Well if we get just an ease of move that would be enough. The ability to buy a new plot and have the game move and vacate your old plot would be amazing in and of it self. Its mini-heart attacks as it is because you have to relinquish to move so if you aren't fast enough you lose it all instead of upgrading. And if it takes awhile it'll be fine, I expect the housing area I want (Ala Mhigo) isn't happening anytime soon.

They keep delaying moving, yet implementing features very little people, if anyone, have asked for.

Because while it's a highly (take it with a pinch of salt) requested feature, it probably would be difficult to implement system-wise. Also, there are the players without housing that will raised their voice (for better or worst) as well once this is implemented. It's definitely not a simple task. But yes, anything new info regarding it would be great.
