    Ifrit bug @ the crystal entrance

    Hi, I wanted to share an interesting incident that I am still suffering from, I was about to enter ifrit fight and and the game crashed, normally you would be able to simply relog and go back to fighting, it's been 5 days since the game crashed at that location and I am unable to access my character.

    It's been days since I reported this and no action or even a proper response, the technical support team of SE are acting a like retards, asking me to check with my Internet service provider, when i able able to log in with my other character there indeed a bug.

    Also my LS members lost their pearls on the same day, every time they walk into the cave the pearl simply disappears.

    Anyone have had such the experience? I am stuck and no help SE team my friends tell me it should be sorted out in a maintenance run, but I am stuck unable to access my character the screen simply remains at the loading faze and I never pop into the screen.

    Dear SE James, if you check the number of tickets I have posted and received some silly response after days of waiting you would have reached the same level of frustration, After several attempts to resolve the matter of me being stuck, there is still no use of help coming from SE Technical Support, this is issue truly showed how unprofessional the services provided to customers are with SE Technical support Teams, I have reached to point of utter frustration with this issue, where my last response and tickets issued have been neglected for the last 4 days with no response, it’s a shame that such people are in charge represent a brand of Final Fantasy below are a list of ticket numbers I opened for a single issue that apparently SE Technical Support Team lack competence or ability to resolve

    All technical information was posted on those tickets also I went as far as providing screen shots. Please examine them all before coming back to me with some remark that has nothing to do with the problem; I would also suggest investigating from your end before responding, as apparently and a previous response that SE is aware of this problem and have yet to resolve it.
    The suggested quick fix also is to run urgent maintenance to purge characters stuck from the servers, nothing that after sharing my case with other, noticed that I am not the only case that has the issue and was ignored by SE Technical Support Team.

    Same exact issue with me, got dc in the ifrit crystal area, probably the same day too. Was last week sunday night/ monday morning, central time. Hopefully they will run a patch this Wednesday that will fix it. I tried deleting the character and got it revived, no help. Tried every conceivable thing SE could come up with, still nothing.

    We apologize for any delay you may be experiencing in receiving support through the SQUARE ENIX Support Center. The SQUARE ENIX Support Center was closed for the recent Thanksgiving holiday, which leads to a backlog of tickets to resolve once they come back. However all tickets will be processed as quickly as possible, in the order that they were received.

    That being said, in regards to the issue you are experiencing, I went ahead and reviewed the tickets you provided, to glean what information I could in regards to your problem. The reason I asked for the information I did, in the format that I did, was to facilitate our assisting you with your problem; the ticketing system used by the SQUARE ENIX Support Center does not support screenshots, so simply attaching a screenshot to the email and stating ‘check the screenshot’ does little to help us help you. Nor does opening multiple tickets for a single issue, or multiple tickets referring back to another ticket; all this does is delay the response that the first, legitimate ticket will receive.

    Now, we do sincerely wish to help you be able to play the game, and in order to escalate this matter further, we will need some more information from you. Please provide the answers to the following questions, in the format requested, and provide only the information requested.

    1) User Environment
    1. – Operating System? (IE: WinXP, Vista, Win7, 32bit? 64bit?)
    2. - Antivirus program? (IE: Windows Defender, AVG, etc)
    3. – Internet Service Provider?
    2) Exact Error Message
    3) Frequency of Error?
    4) What area were you in when the error occurred?
    5) What were you doing when the error occurred? (What type of actions, movements, etc)
    6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? (Please provide number of party members if you were in a party)
    7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error?
    8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error?

    Bluefox24, we would also like to help you, however we do still need further information from you, in the thread you started. Please refer back to that thread for our instructions.

    Many thanks i was finaly able to log in, although that was too long to fix such a glitch, for the record that only took 15 days.
