Help for starting out high level crafting?

So I'm almost a Handmaster, only one job left to 50 (Armorer, it's close. I know I need PbP at least some), but that aside I'm lv 60, specialized in a couple now, and working on the scrip gear, since I'm too poor for ironworks yet. GSM specialist at least, so if I CAN, my first goal is to make the ironworks rings since they'd be universal anyway. I know there's an awful lot to dig into here, so I'm hoping for someone to point me in the right direction, I can make the collectables for turnin gear just fine, but the really high end stuff is...I wouldn't say 'daunting' so much as I'm not sure exactly how to succeed at it, and I don't want to keep blowing materials to try when I'm sure someone has assembled a guide somewhere.

Anyway, off to make a bunch of stuff to get Armorer to 50 and hope for replies!

Look up "Rath's Rotation" ... it works rather well, even if it is rather long, for level 60 2 star, 3 star, and 4 star recipes.

unlock moogle beast tribe and start doing the 3 dailys there. thay will give you grade 5 materia and sell you glass fiber wich you need for ironworks

ixel dailys will also give you grade 4 materia and you can use the tokens from the dailys to buy grade 1-3 aswell.

and go and unlock the wondrous tails books aswell as you can get a specil version of ironworks gear that has 5 materia slots instead of 2 and also give mhachi demimatter wich can be traded with smacklix for grade 5 crafting and gathering materia

you can pretty much just ignore the ilvl150 gear and just grab the trade craft gear from the splendors vendor and you can augment the main hands from there by trading 13 goblin cups and the ilvl180 mainhand with grinmox

rath's rotation is pretty much the best rotation. there are other rotations but rath's is the most reliable

Thank you for the input/link, it seems my goal right now is to get more CP. a *LOT* more CP. I've got demimateria, moogle dailies, and I've been getting the splendors gear, but I haven't TOUCHED my right side since 50. looking at how much it takes makes me the sad . I've got my work cut out for today.
