If you are ok with cencoring female highlander underwear because of Lalafell
It'd be nice if we didn't insult each other, but now I'm going to insult the other sides opinion as silly?
Perhaps not the best wording, but not intended as an insult. Just frankly seems like there are some things that don't make a lot of sense, such as the argument I brought up. But I suppose it's hard to say not to bring up misguided views, since they probably don't know that such are misguided. So probably just a silly thing to say in the first place, don't mind me.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well, I have my Monoa Mask. It has some cultural significance to forestborn Gridanians, having been carved from consecrated lumber rendered up by the Guardian Tree, and given only to those chosen to serve as the Emissary in the Greenbliss ceremony.
Of course, it actually looks no different than a lot of other wooden masks in a similar style that anyone can wear. But I'd even regard that style of mask as being Gridanian, considering the only NPCs we see it on are Wood Wailers (though even they usually just use the smaller half-mask version).

One day, you'll be able to unsheathe a greatsword or drop your pants in the middle of a tavern and have the nearby NPCs back away...one day.
Or you dress up as Minfilia and the Scions all comment on it based on the current state of the MSQ. Or you dress up as temple knight and Ishgardian guards approach you for a stern talk. Or you don your brand new Flame lieutenant coat and every lower soldier /flamesalutes you as you pass.
Unlike restrictions...those kinds of things would actually be cool >_>
One million times yes. Outfits and glamour need to become less restrictive for both gender and race.
I can get behind this I would love to have cases to some of the other styles on all races
I love and fully support this, maybe we can get the GC gear to be dyed or the ixal gloves.
Gonna post the same thing I posted on the hairstyle thread about this same topic, slightly edited tho.
The reason why I'm against removing any race restrictions is that this game doesn't offer any race specific content, only "content" that offers some unique traits to the races (other than the obvious physical differences) are hairstyles, hempen sets and starter gear. That honestly isn't much at all, I know not everyone cares about that stuff, but there are still many who do. Removing the restrictions would take away the little uniqueness the races have left.
There's plenty of glamours available for all, and all the glamour items they will add in the future will most likely be without restrictions as well, so it really isn't unreasonable to have those few gear sets restricted.
Would like to see the hempen styles available to all races.
Also would prefer glamour choices tied/saved to job not item of gear , so "shared" caster gear for example or shared tanking gear can be glamoured uniquely per job while the base set is the same.
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
