The real question is why do we need more of it outside of some kind of super deep culturally important clothing/armor? But if the armor from The Vault or being able to buy the knights of the round armor is any indicator even if the armor has meaning to a certain thing itself the warrior of light can just get and wear it anyways.
The only time race specific armor made sense to me was with GW2, where they got big ol' cats, better looking lala's and tomatos to play as. Even then you still had armor sets available to all themed after those races styles via dungeon armor
It seems like a top a reasonably modest person might wear on a hot day. I wanted it for my Au Ra.

Maybe they just lied to us like they did in this Live Letter
19.1.2017Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
We look forward to hearing your thoughts about the players request. I think, more than a year is time enough to decide if you want to change something or not.Greetings, glamour enthusiasts!
Thanks for the feedback and the discussion! We have relayed the feedback from this thread to the dev. team.
We understand the desire to have the variances in the Hempen set unlocked across all the races, and also understand those who prefer to preserve the uniqueness of these sets.
Since there are players who are both for and against this type of change, we'd like additional feedback to determine whether we should unlock the Hempen set varieties for all races, or if we should keep these glamours race-specific in order to retain the uniqueness. Please let us know which you would prefer, and we will pass these thoughts back to the dev. team.
We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
One of those still doesn't exist, one of those was a change made based on player feedback. Disingenuous to call it a lie.
On topic - one of my favorite glamours basically requires that I be a Miqo'te or a Midlander, since it uses the Hempen Pantalettes (and I think the only shorts that have the same look are healer specific...not great for a Ninja glamour) and does not at all look the way I want with the Highlander or Elezen versions (since I sometimes switch to those races as well). Would definitely appreciate being to use that style on other races.

I think it would be cool if they unlocked Race-Specific items and emotes via Tribe quests.
They could be like Beast Tribes where we learn more about the culture and their daily lives, while leveling up your relationship with them.
Everytime this topic comes up there is some DUDE in a face helm posting that point... and he's usually the ONLY or near only DUDE posting it.
And everytime this topic comes up... this and wanting the midlander are the majority of posts people are making.
Add me to that list. The Miqo'te top looks like a regular top you'd see on a summer day. I'd love to have that across all the race choices.
(I play four characters so I can have several races at the same time without Fantasia... and I'd love to get that top across them all).
