I just hope they model them to each races specific range of proportions. The bust slider seems arguably irrelevant these days when it feels like the armor determines the size of your bust and not the other way around.

This would be awesome if they created a system like GW2 where all cosmetics were saved instead of kept as a physical item. Unlock it on an alt, use it on your main.
I do remember in Star Wars Galaxies a preorder item was a pair of sunglasses. You could click the sunglasses and a drop down menu showed up, then you selected one of 3 models. So it was basically one item that had 3 models attached to it and the player was able to select which one they used.
For Hempen it could work like that. Click hempen item, drop down menu showing races, and then it selects that model.
I would even be happy if this showed up on the Mogstation, I doubt they would ever put that much effort into an item which brings in zero money.
I wish they would do something about this...they said they would bring them in a future patch since March of last year before SB. When will it be SE? Will it be in the game, or the shop or there some way around it like this new glam dresser? Can we please have these SE, a lot of people would love to have the option to choose any of these hempen for their character and not lock behind race lock.
i hope we hear soon on this ^^
I remember this thread...they never did get around to it huh.

Ah, finally! I really would like to see Femroe hempen on my elvy.
Almost a year ago. I'm wondering if it will be unlocked in the cash shop.
I don't know if it would be something for the cash shop or something they add in the game for level 1 craft stuff to make. I hope we hear something soon.
I've been against this from the beginning... but it sounds more and more like it's going to happen anyway... so I was thinking about ways to implement it in game.
Personally, I hope they don't go the cash shop route. I actually think a fun way to add the items in to the game would be through a Fashion Report update. Right now there are only three unlocks to the shop at 100, 300 and 600 Fashion Report points. I propose that "hempen" styles get unlocked at something ridiculous... like 2000 Fashion Report points.
Also, rather than change the existing Hempen Camise, Hempen Undershirt, Hempen Pantalettes, and Hempen Underpants... add new items that replace the word "hempen" with _______ (race name). For example, Roegadyn Undershirt, Highlander Camise, Au Ra Underpants, Miqo'te Pantalettes.
That way, players' existing inventories will not be affected by the addition of the style unlocks. If changes were made to the already existing camise, it will inevitably create some kind of issue with which item ends up in players' inventories/glamour dressers, etc. For example, Player A spent 1mil gil (based on my server's prices) on two General Purpose Pure White Dye and applied them to Hempen top and bottom in the glamour dresser. After proposed update the hempen style is changed to an alternate style that Player A doesn't necessarily like... so now they are out 1mil gil if they want to change it. Adding the style unlocks as separate items could circumvent situations like that, as the existing hempen items, and by extension players' current inventories, will remain unchanged.
Lastly, if the styles are added in as new items, I would personally like the dev team to use this as an opportunity to make small visual updates to them as well. Perhaps texture updates, to give them a sense of being made out of fancier materials and maybe adjusting the dyeable portions of some. If they go this route, I also wouldn't mind seeing some extreme changes made to the female highlander camise and pantalettes. For example, removing the the thigh "bandages" from the pantalettes, removing the leather crest thing from the center of the camise, and changing the brown leather portions of the camise and pantalettes to be effected by chosen dye color. I can only speak on the that set though, because that's the only race I've used and I honestly haven't looked at the other races hempen styles enough to critique changes I'd like to see made to them.
My two cent attempt at being constructive to the idea.
