Except he said that racial features are what makes races unique...
Or do you think my Miqo'te ears is just a hat and my tail is a pair of pants?
tbh I would like if they gave us mixed race options. And I would argue that it would let us be even more unique as individuals rather than boxed in to the limits they set for us. Every catgirl looks somewhat the same as it is, but if you could stick cat ears on a lala or roe body you could make a character that you chose more aspects of, making it more uniquely yours.
Same as clothing, give me every option and let me make the look I want. I don't care about dressing appropriately for my race or whatever, I care about looking how I want to look and expressing myself through that.
According to you? Sorry I don't agree and I don't support an homogenized approach to the races. You're entitled to your view but I strongly recommend SE keep it the way it is and in fact I'd like to see more of it. I guess that is why some like myself create alts so they can enjoy multiple races that are actually different. Clothes, emotes, ears, tails, poses and more all make it special for many of us.

Then have a miqo'te specific set, a Lallafel specific one, Hyur, Roegadyn, etc... The hempen set is a set of gear that apparently magically transforms depending on the race of the wearer, it's silly, as is preventing characters of other races from being able to make a hempen set of an alternate design.
RSE to s great, but the hempen set isn't really RSE since anyone can wear it.
From 1.x I presume? Sure, if that's how you want to do it, although it makes zero sense that a Miqo'te master weaver cannot make a hempen set of any pattern they like for the self. Just because something is a hold over from 1.x doesn't mean it has to be the that way.
I understand wanting unique clothing but the small clothes for the races isn't even unique stuff.. It's casual clothing.. I don't count the hempen clothes as unique. I count the starter gear as unique.
Why can't a Highlander wear a tank top(Midlander hempen)? Why cant a Roe wear a two-color T-shirt(Lalafell hempen)? I can understand legendary ninja gear passed down through 2,000 years but it's just a tank top and T-shirt for example lol.
It's like:
Asian guy: Can I wear your tank top?
White guy: No. Only white people can wear it. We want to be unique.
Asian guy: Wow, okay. No long-sleeve for you.
Black guy: I guess you guys can't have my T-shirt then.
Hispanic guy: Don't worry guys. You can all wear my very special traditional ninja gear my family, and my family only passed down through over 2,000 years, generation to generation. You can wear it. Regardless of race ^_^.
Hispanic guy: White guy can I have your tank top?
White guy: No.
Hispanic guy: : (
We need more RSE, not less!
