Yes, A million times yes!
I always find it frustrating as an Femra that I don't have access to something similar to the Miqote/Midlander versions which I find myself always being like "well...this would totally complete my glamour shame I have a nightgown instead..."
Yes, please do this, IMO this game has too many restrictions on glamour and honestly i'd like to see a lot of the class/job/race gear made un-exclusive too, but this is a totally a good step that should be taken!
I believe that reveals more about your state of mind than anything else.
Lalafel are closer to being chibi characters if you want an analog for them. But they are simply diminutive player character in a game, their race is shorter than others, but they are no less adult because of the shorter stature. Lalafell are not children. If you are contending that they are children because of their stature, then you might want to close your eyes every time you see any person of short stature (Little Person) lest you have a moment like you just did there.
Unbelievable how some people can see anything and everything in a very weird manner.
I would like this, sure. Why not? More options is better.
As to the differences providing some racial style, the vast majority of players probably don't even know that. It's not as though the item says it's for a particular race (as the starter sets do). It's a common piece of gear wearable by anyone of a given gender, and I expect most of the people who try it on and see how it looks on them assume that's just the look of the gear. It takes trying out the same item on multiple different races before you even find out that it looks different according to the race you are at the time.
Now, in order to provide versions with each of the different looks, they'd need to be different items, so go ahead and give credit to the race that designed it in the items' names. If, for example, "Hempen Undershirt" became "Hempen Undershirt in a Miqo'te style" and "Hempen Undershirt in an Elezen style" and "Hempen Undershirt in an Auri style" and so on, people would actually find out that there are racial styles involved.
We might well gain as much (if not more) cultural identity from the sets by just acknowledging their stylistic origins as we lose by allowing anyone to wear whichever they want to.
Is there anyone who can manage to Photoshop the hempen sets to different races somehow, like the OP in the hair thread did? It's a really great way to see how such a thing would truly work.

this is not ok: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6n-Pjx0ATs completely pedophilic
That is funny.
How long does it usually take for more feedback on a popular post like this?
What did I just watch . . . .
