[Suggestion] Quality of Life Changes to Armoire

Greetings,

The Armoire is a storage device that allows players to collect gear inside from Events and so on. Unfortunately, it has its flaws and I'd like to point them out here in hopes of Fixing them.

1. Please allow Level 1 No Stat items to be stored here. (Example: The Emperor's New X)
2. Please allow Level 1 Quest Rewards to be stored here. (Alpine Coat for example)
3. Please allow Level 1 Glamour with 1% or Higher Spiritbond to be stored here (Moonfire Halter, for example)
4. Please allow all event items to be stored here (Yokai Weapons (Unsure))

These items are great to keep on you, but they take up a ton of space. I'm sure many players would like to see their retainer space freed so they can gather more reagents.

5. Add all versions of Artifact Armor and Weapons

You can already put the Yokai Weapons in the chest though. >w>

All level 1 items in the armoire would be absolutely wonderful, but I'd even be happy just to see the i90 and i210 'relic' tome gear plus the promotional sets (Maid/Butler and Fanfest) gear made storable or rebuyable from the Calamity Salvager. That would free up a minimum of 35 inventory slots if you only play one class, and much more if you play and collect for more than one.

I'd be even happier if all tome gear was made storable, and absolutely ecstatic if all unique/untradeable or non-white grade gear were, but at this point I'd take pretty much any improvement to the system with gusto.

I believe some of the lv 1 gear from achievement rewards once unlocked can be purchased indefinitely from any Calamity Salvager in the major cities. Iirc the Alpine coat can be repurchased for like 50 gil or something low cost that way, but we would need to confirm that. Same goes for plenty of other things like this, so be sure to check yoru local Calamity Salvager.

I will agree though it would be handier if they had streamlined this proces, but I'm sure with the SB expansion and said inventory increase/rework they may be solving this issue. However, because of that I don't think we'll see any solution to the problem until SB's launch.

I'd be rather happy if even just the dyable versions of the ilvl50 Artifact Armors were able to be placed in the Armoire...

How about adding green dungeon gear & blue tomestone gear to the armoire. These are things that take time to come by and wouldn't want to scrap if the glamour looked good, but need room for other stuff.

The Armoire is intended for a very specific, niche purpose: It is a place to store equipment which, if you were to throw it away, you could never obtain again. While you may argue that there are many items in the Armoire that you CAN replace, such as Artifact armor, do bear in mind that when those items were ORIGINALLY added to the Armoire, they were irreplaceable. They weren't added to the Calamity Salvager until much later on.

As such any addition you can suggest which can be obtained in the game more than once (such as dungeon drops, crafted gear, or gear sold by NPCs), don't expect to ever see it in the Armoire. The Armoire is not your glamour repository: it's a convenience to prevent you from feeling like you have to horde items that you don't necessarily want, but fear to throw away because they are irreplaceable. (And, come on - Emperor's New stuff? Nearly every piece in that set is under 100 gil to buy! Is it really so much more convenient to teleport to an inn to retrieve Emperor's stuff from an Armoire, than it is to teleport to Mor Dhona and buy a new one? Just buy one, glamour it, and sell it again.)

Some items that I think SHOULD go into the Armoire are the masks and maid and butler outfits from the Amazon promotion a while back. These, if you discard them, cannot be replaced, and as far as I know still cannot be stored in the Armoire. They take up a lot of inventory slots, too!
