This isn't in game. PS4 users can't readily use this like a PC player could. and a PC player would still have to move from the client, open up another window, go to the site, and look up the name.
That's like Destiny and Grimoire cards.
In very few cases i'm sure it's going to happen, people are going to get slightly bullied and looked down on based on their achivement points. But is it going to happen often? Absolutley not. People are exaggerating like crazy and acting like it's going to happen all the time, it really won't.do you really think this would happen tho? By your reasoning, SE should never add anything new into the game at all
SE have added some new hairstyles in the coming patch, without a second's thought of the people that will say "oh, haven't got the new hairstyles ay? you must not do current things, you can't play with us". How reckless of them.
I, too, would like for achievement points to be more meaningful. Even if it's just something as simple as special rewards such as titles, mounts, minions and glamour for reaching specific milestones. It'd encourage more people to go back and tackle older challenges and generally just be pretty great for the health of the game in the long run.
No.
In GW2 achievements points are used as a way to measure the skill of a player, and the only reason that sustains the elitist bullshit. I don't want to see in PF "+7k achievement points only".
If you want to see how many achievements has someone go to his/her lodestone.

It would be really unfortunate if that happened, but to be honest it would be a really good way to weed out bad players (by avoiding anyone who said achievement points = player skill). While the addition could be fun for some people, and drive people into collecting achievements even more, it does create a form of "Oh, so you only have that many? You mustn't be a good player, you must have over this much to play with us".. which had been present before on Forums with people mocking achievements through Lodestone.

people will use your dps, savage minions/primal mounts as skill measurement and nothing else
good people check fflogs out and scrubs dont care anyway
I would like to have some fancy rewards for 10k points or something like that

But we get all this in a process of collecting them already. I have 210 titles from achievements and many mounts, minions and glamours tied to them.I, too, would like for achievement points to be more meaningful. hu? of course can PS4 users use the lodestone as easily as every PC player. i just did. i don't even own a PC for more than 3 years now. the PS4 has an internet browser, not the best, yeah, but it's good enough and yes, you can use it while FF14 works in the background.
but however, searching the lodestone isn't really a good suggestion. it's clunky and the standard setting is that you hide your achievements.
on topic:
i would like to see achievements for achievement points. like getting 1000 achievement points to unlock an achievement wich grants you a new title. 5000 for a minion, 10000 for a mount... so, similar rewards wich you get for the achievements for player commendations.
