Is this normal? (Confession as a Healer)

Well there really no easy way to say this, but I LOVE doing Wonderous Tails Synced as Heals in Duty Finder.

I get this rewarding feeling of beating the boss synced, and while watching a couple of people die off. I don't know, I feel a bit disheartened when I go into PF and clear such a fight that used to take month and months of dying in a second.

So going in and watching some random person being knocked off the side, is like, yes, * smile smile*, I'm home.

There's also some blood pumping exhilaration I feel because I actually have to do my job and watch out for people. Kind of like that oh shit feeling when I sometimes heal for Forward and Back, and Backwards Forward in Duty Finder.

Yes, just feels glorious.

My FC says I'm a sadist.

I like to think that I'm just a person who enjoys not going through content mindlessly. But then also the occasional realization that someone is going to die from something stupid might humor me too. So maybe I'm a little bit of a sadist, but were all a little right?

I do it from time to time, unless i get ramuh ex with new players 3 times in a row , that's where i lose faith and join PF and unsync all the way...

My FC says I'm a sadist.

Mine calls me a masochist. Not so much because I express enjoyment when bad things happen to others (I still have my tee-hee moments), but rather because I insist on doing things the hard way. I know how you feel though, and I don't know what it is, but I constantly queue for instances that groups tend to struggle with. I do not like doing things unsynced unless I want to avoid the experience points.

I think it has to do with the fact that I need to stance dance for things to feel rewarding. 50/50 is ideal. I DO NOT LIKE DPSing 90% of the time. It is very boring to me, but I don't want to be constantly healing either as there is a stress threshold there. Duty finder is filled with the intangibles that keeps things interesting for me, and I am far too eccentric to be content with each instance run being ran like clockwork.

Thanks for making me feel better guys. I mean it. I was worried that I was the only one who did this. (Since people have told me, outside my FC even that I was a little cray cray for sync.) =)
