This is mostly because I'm very familiar with it, but I'd like a Saga Frontier cross-over. I'd throw in Unlimited Saga but no one liked it, despite having some nice character designs.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
With the costumes made for the play, Harid would actually be a good starting point for a crossover. Especially how they focused on him for the trailer. Would love to have Monicas' outfit though, they all look amazing in live action!
I doubt its popular enough outside of Japan to be really worth the time. Not only that but Romancing SaGa 3 doesn't even have an official English translation. SaGa Frontier was sort of popular, but only amongst JRPGers. Unlimited SaGa basically killed the series in the west. Not a surprise if you've ever played it.
They did the Dragon Quest collaboration even though that wasn't as popular in the West.I doubt its popular enough outside of Japan to be really worth the time. The costume designer did amazing work on these costumes, I hope it does well in Japan so we can get them in Eorzea!
