At the risk of being slammed for loving FFXI to much, can I make one tiny request for the end of this raid whe we get there in the later updates.

Please, I understand copyrights can make it difficult, but if there is a way DEVs, please, let us earn the full version of Distant Worlds. I want to hear it in my house.

Distant Worlds is an original composition of the FF music owned by Nobuo Uetsuma. Getting 1.0 music was hard enough.

Indeed it was, doesn't change the fact that if I can't have a music roll I would love to fight to that music one more time.

It would be nice, but the absolute best you can get is mog station music in the very distant (hue hue) future. Why not alt tab, go on youtube and listen to it that way?

I could, and do. I would just figure if ever there is a chance, its now. So why not?

To be fair, we got Eternal Wind from III and a few remixes from previous Final Fantasies, a remix of Distant Worlds isn't that big a leap of the imagination. And even if it was an original composition by Uematsu, he's also made and lent music to this game, depends on the dev team and SE.

I'm really sorry if I sound Ms Nasty here, as it is not my intent, but what does a FFXI song have to do with the Ivalice-themed raid? Ivalice is the world of FFXII and Tactics, not FFXI (FFXI's world is called Vana'diel). So I doubt the Ivalice-themed raid will feature non-Ivalice themed music included with it, because why would it? If anything you'd more likely get FFXII/Tactics etc themed music there than FFXI.

Also, a variation of Distant Worlds already exists in FFXIV, the instrumental version Recollection was used for the second FFXI crossover event, so that would be more likely to be added to the Orchestrion than the actual vocal version. Having said that though, a while ago SE did admit that there is potential for Orchestrion rolls of music from other FF games to be added for purchase on the Mogstation in the future so Distant Worlds is a possibility still:

Adding songs from other FINAL FANTASY games
It's difficult for us to add songs that are not used in FFXIV, but it might be possible to add these in as optional items.

But even if it does come to the game, I doubt you will see it for a long time yet.
