I wonder what kind of new veteran player system they're creating then, if they're doing away with the old one? Have they said anything about it?

A system that rewards everyone no matter how long they have been subbed for. Screwing actual Vets over but thats ok because EVERYONE GETS A REWARD!!!!!!!

That seems very..... mobile phoneyy lol.
like im playing sonic dash or something. I think the fact you paid money to play for the month should be enough motivation for you.
if it was free-to-play I would agree with you though.

@ Stormfur, nothing as of yet has been said about what is replacing Vet rewards and how they will go about it.
Rank 13 is the final rank which i already have :/

Reads the forums often...rarely post

Daily login bonuses are a way for B2P and F2P games to snag you into logging in so you can hopefully spend money on their cash shops. It is not something needed in a P2P game.
If everyone gets rewarded for just logging in, can i get rewarded with higher iLv & faster flying mount for highest tier raid? And plz remove the rewards once we the new patch hits. thank you.

It's sad to see how society has degraded. People want rewards for just showing up now; examples include the infamous Perfect Attendance award. It's no longer expected that people show up everyday and work hard... we have to incentivize them to do so. It has become so bad that now people feel entitled to such rewards.
This is in no way simple criticism of your suggestion but an assessment of our social mores and what is commonly believed to be right. People have really changed. Looking at the political climate and our society's priorities, I wonder if it's for the the better.

Agreed, sad truth is some feel just attendance is justification for reward. Just like many game companies feel it's justified to release unfinished games and massive day one patches to fix a full price purchase, to say nothing of later DLC...It's sad to see how society has degraded. I recall a time when playing at a harder difficulty setting unlocked more game features. When careful exploration of a level/ environment could unlock a whole new experience within the game (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night).
However i would be lying if i said realistically with job, family, social life, and other commitments such things would be hellish to try to implement in this day and age. In saying that, i still would not want a feature as the OP put forth. Such a thing is un-needed in a subscription based MMORPG. Better to leave pandering of that level to f2p and b2p MMO's. FFXIV offers enough content as it stands, why else would talks of jump potions be a thing if there wasn't enough?
If what FFXIV does not have the content your looking for, there are plenty of other MMO's handing out there gold sticker attendance prizes in their f2p/ b2p offerings.
This is a criticism of the suggestion and an assessment of our social morals and what is commonly believed to be right. People have really changed, looking at the political climate and our society's priorities, I worry for the future.
