Good, you defend the Japanese client and the script and you prefer to play that. I can get behind that. So why bring the word "original" into it? That's the stickler here.

It's nice when people correct their mistakes, no? I said something incorrect when I know it's not true and corrected my post because there is no original Japanese script when it's a collaboration. I'm just so used to saying "original" and Japanese in the same sentence.

Well lets hope that things can balance out for people on both ends.

The only way this can ever happen is if a dedicated team of FFXIV fans make a fan-dub of their own that replaces all text/dialogue in the game to match the 'Japanese' script. There is A LOT of dialogue in FFXIV (MSQ, SQ, random NPCs, boss quotes, etc).
Unless they get paid way more than they already are, the localisation team(s. I imagine there may be some Japanese players who might prefer the English localisation) will never put more work onto their plate, especially if it may slow patch/expansion release dates.

I bought the game and I've been subbed since 1.0 switched from free to monthly paid. I totally believe in Yoshi-p and I am very pleased with what the devs have accomplished at least more so with the source material. My intention isn't to be rude or take personal shots at anyone but when you put material out in the world to be experienced there will be feedback and that's I'm doing I'm sharing my experience in the member forums. If you don't agree with me then that's fine I'm not asking you to.

These individuals are expected to work side by side with the development teams here in Tokyo as they transform the JP source into flowing, natural text in the target language, while taking care to ensure that players in all regions will have comparable emotional experiences.
