I don't agree with the sky being blue or grass being green. Why can't we name the colour of the sky purple? Why does it *have* to be blue? Why is green "green"? Why can't it be a different name like "lamp"? However, no matter how much I want that to change, it's not going to happen, because it isn't the "right" one. That's essentially what that person is trying to argue, trying to change the unchangeable.

But I guess you can continue to defend and argue a point that is going out of season. Points for trying. Maybe they want a medal for trying so hard. Who knows.

But this is the NA forum afterall, someone's saying something that goes against a popular opinion?

No one's bothered about the poster preferring the JP version. The issue is them using their JP-bias to denigrate the EN version as supposedly not being true to the 'original' source, when it's been stated how it's a collaborative effort from both sides. Hence for all the poster knows there could be stuff on the JP side that wasn't true to the 'original' EN version, but as far as they're concerned since there's a JP version it must be the true version, hands down.

There's a difference between a discussion of opinions and plain refusal of acceptance. You and they don't like the English script. More power to you, go play in Japanese, and we'll play in English. It's when you refuse to accept that facts that have been proven and keep pushing your own biased and factually irrelevant agenda that we have a problem.

I bought the game and I've been subbed since 1.0 switched from free to monthly paid. I totally believe in Yoshi-p and I am very pleased with what the devs have accomplished at least more so with the source material. My intention isn't to be rude or take personal shots at anyone but when you put material out in the world to be experienced there will be feedback and that's I'm doing I'm sharing my experience in the member forums. If you don't agree with me then that's fine I'm not asking you to.
