the problem is neither of those exist. there is no higher levels nor is there enough content to support the speed in which levels are gained now.

both of your argument for the fast speed would be completely relevant if either of your arguments existed. i'm not saying that the speed should never be increased. what myself, and others, have stated is there is nothing in game atm to justify the speed it is now.

right now with the speed to level you can get all battle classes to cap in a week time. patches are coming every few months so there is no need to level at that pace. once more content or levels are increased the move would be completely fine.
There is enough content. As I stated before, but I will again since you like to skip ahead and assume what I mean in my posts. You just look at it as very little because you've completed most of it already. For a new player starting right now, there is an overwhelming amount of content to partake in even if that player is magically propelled to 50 in 2-3 days.

Then you have to anticipate later they will have content surrounding jobs and even more instanced content. Clearly, both of us cannot know the ultimate plan on why progression is the way it is without a direct answer, but an educated assumption would be that the game is attempting to grow into a content heavy MMO instead of a dated progression heavy MMO. Which is a good thing. I don't think this progression pace is going to last forever though.

The reasoning I'd see this as a good thing is that for returning players, and players who are interested enough to pay to play, they don't have to be cock blocked entirely by slow and grindy progression if they don't want it. However, come 2.0 I can see this changing when it's deemed fit to call a legitimate release.
