Your sig's logic would also dictate that a person who watched every esport stream for years could sit down and take out everyone in a blink of an eye, since in this regard, leveling = class would be actually playing said esport game (like Starcraft) and gaining enough skill to actually compete.

When you manually level you learn things you simply can't and won't learn just by observing. You learn by doing.
