Personally the exp rate is fine it's the PLing that's the issue it breaks any semblance of balance that could have ever existed.

I think PLing should just go back to how it was in FFXI, outside the party and providing heals. A PL in FFXI wasn't even too reliable since they couldn't see the HP of every member in the party, so it had its ups and downs.

You conveniently forget how a stoneskinned PL could tank for a party of DDs. "Don't voke off the PL" was practically a macro phrase for people in XI.

What are you even trying to say? "semblance of what could have existed" means that if it ever did exist it's broken now. Wether or not it existed is of no relevance.

Power leveling as is will do little but make the game reward people who can have a outside player do all the work for them.

Of course you could have a unlimited tank but for the most part that still meant for a only slightly faster rate of exp. It's when the PL can just flat out kill the monsters for you that the issue arises.

All I see is an option for people who don't enjoy The Grind to get it out of the way as long as someone is willing to do all the work in their place.

I still don't see how that unbalances things for those who do enjoy grinding.

Got nerfed, and even then only worked for one job and under extremly hard to replicate curcumstances.
