Would that keyboard work with ps4 it says its for ps3. If not do u know any keyboaeds that would work for ps4. That are usb ? For $25 or so ?

Yes. I know that model has been around a while, since I got it in 2013, shortly before the PS4 came out (and was first using it on my PS3). But I've been using it with my PS4 ever since the PS4 version of FFXIV was released.

(I think the PS3 label on the box the keyboard comes in is mainly a marketing thing. Except for the cord being a bit longer than most, it's just a standard keyboard like you'd use with a PC, which is what both PS3 and PS4 expect.)

Can someone please give me a quick rundown of how palace of the dead works? I just did the first 10 levels of it and im soo confused. Can someone clear up just how the progression works, what i get out of it, whats the point of it really, also some guy turned into a succubus....would be really helpful. Thanks.

palace of the dead are just a fun side story it have some conections with the story lore wise you run thru 10 floors at a time. can use df for the 100 first and last 100 you have to from a normal 4 man party before you go in and it is just hardmode. get a temp main hand that you need to level up from silver chests to get stronger but can fail on every floor you are killing monsters until the warp to next floor turn on, on every 10 floor is a boss. you get exp and if you are high lv you also get tomestones if the boss is killed. you can also find loot on every floor can trade it to a npc near potd entrance but it is hidden and need to use a item to find it drops from mobs or are in chests

Oh i see and also it says sometimes. Thst the group got piece of like the legendary item or something i forgot its name. Bottom right corner of the character info. Whats that for ?

As you clear Palace of the Dead, you open blue chests that increase your aetherpool weapon and armor strength. The chance of the blue chest working is related to how strong your stuff is already and how deep your are. Generally, if blue chests on certain levels stop working reliably, it means you need to go deeper! Aetherpool strength can go up to +99/+99 (weapon/armor).

After you've cleared lv 50, you have the option of sacrificing 30/30 of your aetherpool strength to pull out a Padjali (ilvl 235) weapon. After you've cleared lv 100, you have the option of sacrificing 60/60 of your aetherpool strength to upgrade a Padjali weapon to Kinna (ilvl 255). In total, you'd need 90/90, but you can go up to 30/30, get Padjali dropping to 0/0... then work up to 60/60 and upgrade, dropping back to 0/0. There is no need to get to 90/90, so you can ignore that number. Just aim for 30/30... get your Padjali. Then aim for 60/60 for the upgrade. Remember though that you'll need to clear floor 50 to unlock Padjali and 100 to unlock Kinna. Those floors act as unlocks while the atherpool is your currency. You never have to go back to floor 100 after clearing it if you don't want to.

The Kinna weapon is one of the best weapons in the game and is relatively easy to get... also profitable, since Palace of the Dead gives you easy XP, gil, and horde rewards!

I see but you have to be level 60 to use them correct ? So is it best to finish msq with a class then do it ? I already got the pad weapon for DRG.

Yes the weapons are for 60. I'm not 60 yet, but I have my Kinna weapon. I'm keeping MSQ in step with a friend though that doesn't play as much, so I'm behind in MSQ. However you want to do it is your business though. There isn't a best way. If you get Kinna before 60, then you can look forward to inheriting a freakin awesome weapon at 60. Padjali weapon is still a great weapon to start with though at 60. I say, do what's fun and don't stress about it!
