Thread: The lack of actual playable content in 1.20 is a bummer. :( Discussion!

I must admit, I think the lack of content is a problem for me, though, I'm not 50 yet (and I see no reason in leveling all classes to 50, especially with v2.0 coming around next year). The intervals where you have something to do are getting smaller, but are still too broad. Combined with many stupidly easy (e.g.class) quests it takes out the fun real quick for me.
I'm really hoping for a less strict level cap or level synch. system. Hopefully, patch 1.20 will turn this game around difficulty wise.

I agree with the OP I wish we were getting one of those raids from 1.21 in 1.20, or Hamlet defense battles or something.

Maybe the level 50 versions of the Chocobo Escort quests will be fun, and worth it (given the lvl 30 versions, I doubt it). I don't want to do the Dark Moogle fight until February. I will, but I wish there was a little more coming for me to play through as I have no interest in stuff like chasing achievements from menial low-mid level quests.

They said they were adding new NM's also, so I'm hoping that means we will get surprised with some high level world NM's worth killing.

We are getting class changes. No one will fight the same. Fighting darkhold, ifrit, and NM will be different experience.

BAM NEW CONTENT. They did say themselves that this wasn't a content patch, so please just shut up about content already. I think changing and balancing new class skills is more important than releasing some more instances without balance.

They changed combat in 1.19. it didn't exactly make me want to go back and do Darkhold for.... rewards that I already have and would never use again.

I guess in your world though games don't have to entertain you as long as you can entertain yourself. White padded rooms may be a cheap entertainment alternative in that case.

Just fine tuning really. It will be nice to have jewelry that doesn't suck, food that is worth while and some additional things to aid in the current gameplay but I agree to some extent. Really just trying to bury the idiotic "Less XP" thread.

No, I find other things to do than just do endgame stuff. I craft, I play with friends, go adventure out, play other games so I don't do all the content in one sitting.... you know, making the game last longer and all.

It is an MMO. You shouldn't be able to do all the content in one sitting, that is why it carries a subscription price...

I have no hate with what-so-ever in this latest patch, or 1.21 so far, or any of the news coming out of the wood-works thus far.

I'm satisfied, this being the case since FEB this year.
