Racial Gear For All?

For glamour purposes, it would be pretty awesome if we could equip any of the racial-bound gear, both the starting gear sets and the hempen "underwear" sets, on any race. I understand this may be difficult as-is, since these are coded exclusively for predetermined races, but I may have a work around.

Perhaps it would be possible to copy the clothing's model/texture data onto a new item file with a different name and no racial binding restrictions. If this is possible and remotely easily done, please do so! Viva la Glamour!

But lore dictates only Miqo'te know how to tie the bow at the neck of the hempen camise! It's im-possible for other races to wear it, it would keep falling off. Besides, it's a sacred, tribal garment with tremendous religious significance! Muh immurshun!

(Since people keep missing it: The post is sarcastic. I am mocking the notion of arbitrary restrictions for the sake of restrictions, because I know someone is going to jump out and yell:"We actually need more racial gear!")

And gender restrictions as well. I don't think I'll ever be OK with females getting male's costumes, but males not having some sort of variation of the female costumes (and I don't mean an extremely masculine variation, I mean one that much resembles the original). What's the point of making miqs and auris so sexy if we don't have as broad a selection of skimpy outfits as females? Give me more bikinis, Square Enix!!! And cute outfits as well. I'll take the risk.

Yes, please!, elezen pieces are very elegant, I would love to use them. And we need more skirts like those of miqo'te and hyur, since they are quite limited!

I'd absolutely love this, and I'm sure I'd get a lot of use out of the Elezen and Au Ra gear...maybe even the Highlander Hempen gear if I was feeling a bit racy!

Even better if the all-races versions were also not gender locked, since I've always wanted to be able to wear those adorable shorts my Miqo'te sisters get to run around in; short options for males sadly leave a lot to be desired.

Because there really isn't much of a point to argue about. People in favor of racial gear for all will agree with it, people who aren't in favor of it will disagree with it, and I doubt either will change their stance on that.
And while I wouldn't be one to advocate for more racial diversity, I don't see the issue of having some unique things tied to each race.

I'd rather they introduce some more simple/casual looking gear (like the survival shirt), instead of just making the hempen gear accessible to all races.
