Can't Remove Icons From Hot Bars. Padlock Icon Not Visible

I can remove any of the icons from my hot bars. The small padlock icon is gone and I can't figure out how to make it appear again. Can anyone please help me out?

Do you still see Hot Bar 1? Have you placed it close to the right side of the screen? If yes you might have placed it too much to the right, hidding the padlock offscreen.

How about using the text command to delete it? "/hotbar delete 1 2" should delete the 2nd button from hot bar 1, for instance.

I moved the hotbars around but still do not see the padlock icon. I wish I knew why.

Go to your hud settings and toggle hotbar 1 to visable if it is not. As Chocolys pointed out, it could be why you see no lock.

And if all fails, you might want to try resetting the UI to its default state with the DEFAULT button.

Maybe rechecking Enable drag-and-drop repositioning in Hotbar Settings will fix it.

Thank you everyone. The /hotbar delete command worked.

I also moved hotbar 1 using the HUD layout and discovered the lock icon was hidden underneath hotbar 2 which i had positioned very close to hotbar 1.
