The new diadem looks interesting
Overall Solid Trailer. The only thing that made me cringe a bit was sadly the Egi Glamours. I called this months ago in a few SMN threads, the look is going to be different but abilities are going to be the exact same. However.. I am wrong in that the special effects were going to be different. They didn't even change that, so i'm crossing my fingers and hoping they fix this for those that have been waiting so long for this *Fingers Crossed*

I think people wanted the glamours more and don't care about the effectsSolid Trailer. The only thing that made me cringe a bit was sadly the Egi Glamours. I called this months ago in a few SMN threads, the look is going to be different but abilities are going to be the exact same. However.. I noticed it too with the egi glamours. Though I don't think I'll notice half the time. With all the stuff flying around during fights unless I use Enkindle I won't really notice. I notice more my egi than I do the squirt of wind it blows.
It's implemented and should be good enough for now. I think they realize that later when they implement others (Ramuh , Shiva etc...) they will not be able to do this. Though for right now it's just like how it was before SMN was introduced with players going "I want it!" and them going "Fine! here.." only to have them glare back "..I dun like it."
Or maybe it's like how we can't glamour on tank gear on mages, they were at one point worried people would get confused what job they were seeing. I'm sure if they changed Garuda's wind to a fire like skin with the red Carbuncle someone would post "It's a bit confusing, I thought I was on Ifrit." and that is why we can't have nice things.
Or, I can see someone going "Titan is better I'm going to use Titan" and if their attacks differ you'll never really notice. Though Titan spikes a giant piece of rock from the ground so if someone took time to notice if they saw a chunk of molten rock push up instead of a fiery tail swipe.
I'm happy with this, I missed Carbuncle so I plan to keep that lil guy around.
They look as beautiful as the last two. Maybe they'll test out some stuff for 4.0 dungeons and we get surprised. Either way my carbuncle is back in action.
Too early for that to come to my mind. That would work perfectly for me!
I've never really did diadem. I mean I did at the beginning but after seeing all we were doing were killing with no effort and then loosing my eyesight temporarily from all the stuff going on when that dinosaur popped up..I didn't step back in. Maybe need to read up on it again.
PVP I use to be into, then stopped for the feast..but might take up my axe and go grizzly bear on some people.

Only disappointing thing is that the Dun Scaith theme is just a softer version of the Mhach theme, and that the final boss is like a really tall lolita.
I'm praying that what i think is the healer gear of the dun scaith bunch is not the healer gear. It's just another nun outfit with a top hat.

I'm not certain this is the case, at least in regards to the main scenario quests. For the 2.5 trailer they made a distinction, but they aren't doing that this time. If this trailer is for both then there is stuff they aren't showing us, such as the mysterious lady in red who has been said will make an appearance. It would have been wise for them to show her in the trailer if this was the only one they plan to release, similar to how we got a glimpse of Zenos. Not to mention we basically only see three scenes. Baelsar's Wall has already been confirmed for 3.5 which suggests that the story will continue beyond that point in the 3.55 update.
This trailer is roughly 8:30 in length and so is the trailer for the 2.5 patch... up until the last segment that showcased the 2.55 main scenario quests. It's entirely possible that we'll get a second, small trailer for 2.55 to showcase the latest quests. But as far as additional content beyond what is shown here or mentioned on the website, yeah this is what we're getting.
Sohm Al Hard looks rather fun, like the choice of music for the video.
And yes Squall Outfit was supposed to be vet reward...
Changes to Diadem look good, hope it actually is, lol
