I've confirmed with the dev. team that they won't be making it possible to dye job-specific equipment in the future. For some people, jobs and their equipment hold a special image in their minds and there might be those put off by the fact that the image can be altered by being able to dye them multiple colors. We want to maintain that special image by keeping the equipment uniform.
However, in the future, it might be possible to release different colored job-specific equipment as new items.Try reading that again. At this point they specifically say the opposite of what you said.
Also I see no hint as to what AF gear colors would be, where do you get your infor on that?

You're right, can't be specifically dyed, but there will be different colors that we don't know of yet (which was the point of my comment).
For your question, I think someone already answered.
All anyone really has are assumptions Coglin. Thought if you do look at the pics on page 8 of the moogle weapons... they are what they put in the vid they showed. So you could assume that they will be what is in the concept unless changes are made but I'm going to go with a probably not going to change since Yoshi has said he wants to bring back the Final Fantasy feel to the game but putting in some of the more traditional Final Fantasy things like chocobos, airships and the way the jobs look.

Thats not true in the least. Drawings of "concepts" and a video of gear already in game in a video in which the dev specifically said in the post "lets give you a peak at loot that "Good King Moggle Mog XII" will bring!" are two entirely diffrent things. All anyone really has are assumptions Coglin. The cat could get confused however I think I will stay bemused instead. Yes one shows what is being brought in game and one shows what the concept of such items is... the fact that in the vid the moogle sword and staff are the same as what is in the concept art is what I was pointing out as a way to show that it is a good chance what is in the concept art is what will be in the game... is it all an assumption sure it is and I could be completely wrong but that is how things go when you assume.Thats not true in the least. I would also go with what is show in the concept art for the fact that as I said most of those are the more traditional looks of the jobs that have been in the many FF games that had a job system in place as I already list out in other posts. Now do all of these jobs show up in all of the FF games well no and yes to certain extents... it could be said that because certain characters have this ability or can cast this type of magic that can be seen as this job or that job.
In reality it is all assumption until the cards are placed in front of you to see... and at any point thing can be changed for that is how life goes...
