Anyway, I haven't read the thread entirely and won't, but I guess (and might be wrong) that you're a "anti-tradition complete freedom" guy who just used a FF tradition argument ?
I never said I was anti tradition?

I said it was assumptions (do not take it personal, pretty princess) since I'm still trying to understand your vague FFT thing that'd give sense to a black White Mage AF outfit and a white Black Mage AF outfit.

Even if there is, it won't change my personal opinion that it doesn't make much sense and that I don't care much (I'm just trying to add wood in the fire since those threads are entertaining to read while I wait for reports).

Most FFs have multiple color, often also working in a inverting way. In FFT red mages second color is blue and blue mages second color is red. Green goes purple (purple thief) and purple goes green (green dragoon) and so on. There is nothing wrong in having multiple colors on AFs.

    Thanks.

Then, there is nothing wrong with the first AF set being the traditional color, and other future job specific equipment being colored differently ?

That's exactly what the rep said.

Of course there isn't. The "main" color should be the official one...it's just not really nice not letting people dye them at will...if the player prefer his WHM to look like a sith lord with that cloak black, why not?

The first main AF will be white and red, but we've been officially confirmed there will be other job specific gear that can be dyed.

It's entirely plausible there will be WHM specific armor that can be dyed black.

We want to maintain that special image by keeping the equipment uniform.

However, in the future, it might be possible to release different colored job-specific equipment as new items.

Try reading that again. At this point they specifically say the opposite of what you said.

Also I see no hint as to what AF gear colors would be, where do you get your infor on that?

because this is final fantasy, and a white mage is a white mage, not a sith lord.

seriously, of all the things people can cry about...
