    [REQUEST] The most off the wall request... Ever!

    Some may know, and some may not. There is this pop singer in Japan that has had a long history with the Final Fantasy franchise named Gackt .



    He was the inspiration for some of the iconic looks, hair, and has even done a song or two for the games, like the Dirge of Cerberus

    So what I am suggesting is an event, or cameo, or just an item or something. I have listened to this guy for years and dig his sound but my wife has been a diehard fan forever. How about you guys ring him up and see what can be done?

    Love Gackt. His Gundam Cover Album is a personal favorite.

    If nothing else, Genesis' Coat and Sword would be a nice addition to the game. ESPECIALLY with Red Mage coming in 4.0.

    Gackt and Square had a huge falling off and Gackt forbid them from ever having anything to due with him ever again and to fuck off. So I'm going to go with, NO

    Edit:Regarding Genesis, yeah he forbid them form using anything close to Genesis either since it's his likeness. No Genesis and no Gackt stuff ever again since Gackt turned out to be a huge asshole

    Contract disputes Erik. Unless Square brings the big bucks to the table, Gackt characters can't be used in Final Fantasy. It's why they're scrubbing any mention of Genesis from the FF7 remake. He never happened, his character doesn't exist
