Palace of the Dead solo help! (mainly 100+)

Hey guys, just as it says. looking for some advice.

Been doing palace of the dead solo and got to 92/99 but wiped on floor 120 as my WAR (damned final sting) and was wondering what tips people have for progressing further with solo?

I keep seeing a lot of people saying to go as Summoner but whenever i level my summoner up from 1-50 I can't kill the Ixtab enemies in time so there is no way i'd be able to progress further with SMR.

Any help would be appreciated. Determined to reach 150+ so i can start seeing that mount drop

Trying to solo specifically to get the mount is not a good idea. Your time would be better spent farming the gil to buy it off MB or find 3 other people to climb to 200 with.

!51+ gets very hard to solo. With time restraints etc you cannot prioritize obtaining hoards so your chances are extremely low to obtain the mount this way and one mistake and you gotta start over while 4 people can make mistakes and still manage to survive. Also 4 people can clear mobs a lot faster so that you have time to open all boxes to get intuitions and look for hoards.

If you just wanna solo to solo Scholar's have made it the farthest going by the rankings.

been trying this for quite some time, but can never find people who are available to put the time in on my server whenever i've put it up on duty finder. Haven't even checked how much it costs on MB so i guess i'll have a look on there and see how much it costs

Well one other suggestion I can offer you is you can duo it to 181 (or possibly farther; 181 is just where we died since we went in blind). My boyfriend and I did it. We died to Chimera in 181 due to not knowing their cast times were insane lol.

The time restraints do mess with your ability to obtain hoards, but you can hold intuitions after floor 100 to save for 151+ and it isn't too hard. So you can almost 100% guarantee you get at least 3 hoards after you clear 160 boss.

It takes a long time investment though. Like it would take you all day to get to 170 and 171+ is when it really gets difficult for duo.

We did it as WAR and SCH, but we cleared to 200 with a full group after we failed duo at 181.

So if you can find one other person who is interested in farming with you then you might be able to obtain it that way.
