As of right now strongholds contain "chests" which need a key dropped from specific mobs to open. While this is a decent system and a small incentive for completing these strongholds i feel it is not enough, getting everyone a key for an item that may not be usefull to them can also turn into a very boring grind very quickly.

What i propose is simple, add lower tiered items and weapons to beastmen drop list within the stronghold. When i say lower tiered i dont mean lvl 10 armor (although this could also work seeing as how people level to fast to even care about obtaining lower level gear) I mean items with less desirable stats than superior items at that level range.

Why would this be a good system with the current key/chest system?


At this point in time we are all just about done with 1.19 people are getting bored as you can see with the current topics being discussed.
Materia is the only reason to continue playing this game, and to do that effectively you need to craft.

Currently you see more people in citys than u do outside. Why? Because everyone is crafting for materia. SE the point of making content is to get people to actually do it. With this system you can give players gear at a decent rate while also spiritbonding gear at a decent rate thus getting materia at a decent rate.
I would be out there grinding away for materia right now instead of typing this post if this were implemented. So please Yoshi-P consider this.
