I think people just want something to complain about for the sake of complaining. I heard complaining about skip potions are still trending.

Zodiark seems to be located in the Moon atleast

If the Gerun Oraclesand Louisoix is to be believed, then Hydaelyn banished Zodiark to the Moon when she created the Shard worlds

That statue does look like what we see in the Chrysalis. Though I'm guessing he's inside the moon?
Hm.. in the cutscene after the Antitower, when we fly with Minfilia, she tells about "light and darkness were in balance, but then the DArkness begin to grow stronger and they were divided on 4 and 11 (if I remember right). Also Minfilia (The Word of Hydaely) speaks about "him". I think, that in a "time before time" Hydaely and Zodiarc were that Light and DArkness, but then they were separated. I think, that the 'Moon" cant be the "home" of "Zodiarc". I think he is somewhere in his dimension, waiting for another rejoining

It looks like we've got you thinking, though! The moon may not be as ordinary as you seemed to think it was.
Personally, I'm fond of the theory that Zodiark is imprisoned in the moon. Hyaedalyn is a living god in a living world, and Zodiark is a dead god in a dead world. The symmetry is nice.
It also has parallels in Final Fantasy IV, where the final boss, Zemus, was imprisoned in the moon. And like the moon in this game, on the surface it appeared to be an ordinary moon, with dust and craters and all (and also lots of giant amoeba monsters to fight in random encounters, but hey, it's a JRPG) but turned out to have not only Zemus but an entire civilization of sleeping Lunarians.

It would be 3 or 4 and 10. There were 14 in total. I don't think Zodiark is on a particular one. Its the fact they are divided that is keeping him banished, not that he is trapped on a different one. Otherwise the Ascians job would probably be a lot simpler.Hm.. in the cutscene after the Antitower, when we fly with Minfilia, she tells about "light and darkness were in balance, but then the DArkness begin to grow stronger and they were divided on 4 and 11 (if I remember right). Assuming the Moon was there before the division (which is quite likely) its quite possible it was once a sacred place for him. He might not literally be the moon but it seems likely that the Moon has some significance to Zodiark's people.
3.4 will give you more info on the whole 'divided world' thing.
I think for example the fact than the Hyur race is looking A LOT like humans should be a more a Earth-like-clone-issue if you want to complain about cloning, than any satellite orbiting a planet, or a planet orbitting a sun like there is many in the galaxy![]()

FFXIV 6.0: Lunarians new playable race. We get to go to the moon. :'DAnd like the moon in this game, on the surface it appeared to be an ordinary moon, with dust and craters and all (and also lots of giant amoeba monsters to fight in random encounters, but hey, it's a JRPG) but turned out to have not only Zemus but an entire civilization of sleeping Lunarians.
There. OP can live on the moon then.

Honestly I think the op just had a long and convoluted way of saying "more fantasy", "more places like Azyz La", "more floating islands", and "more whimsicleness". Complain all you want about this thread, but all of you who commented fed into it. If you don't like it so much, don't contribute. People are failing to realize that we choose to make certain threads controversial, when we could be promoting positivity instead.
