1. I applied for a world transfer, which worked correctly since im now on this new world.
2. I noticed that my mentor icon was gone and tried to get it back.
3. I went to the Smith to ask "become a mentor".
4. The smith replied: "Unable to accept mentor certification at this time"

5. Character info (my character met the requirements on Balmung server)
Jobs lv60 = PLD, WHM, BRD
Number of dungeons/raids and trials = 3312
player commendations = 2778

Odds are that server transferring enforces the 30 day cooldown.

Wait a month and try again.

Try setting your status as mentor since you can remove it anytime you want (if you didn't resign).

Its possible you set your status busy before you transferred.
