How can SE make sure in melee Range RDM isnt squishy as a caster?

Everyone here is acting like they just never take any damage at all haha, I,ve never had a run as a dps where I took zero damage at all why else would healers have aoe heals. If anything melee classes have more hp from there gear than casters, and people mention dragoon they have the best gear options compared to any other melee class.

yes, melees have higher HP than casters. but casters also have higher m-defense. since ALL raidbusters are magick-based (the high aoe damage), melees need the additional HP to survive them. a red mage melee in caster gear with high m-defense will not need it.
