Error I2501. Why it began to appear?

    Good day

Some time ago the strange error I2501 begin to appear while attempting to create the account. Many of my friends cant begin to play FF.

I wonder why this error begin to appear and why SE cant fix it? Does SE understand how many players already lost?

That error is related to your payment options being blocked, the only thing you can do is use one of the methods SE has approved, buy a time card, or maybe asking their customer service or your bank to look into things.

But such error also appears, when you try to create the trial account. No payment there

Same error appears when attempting to use a time card.

I helped to troubleshoot the error for someone over the weekend. It appears to have happened, at least in that case, because Mogstation was being accessed from behind a network proxy. Dropped proxy and payment processed no problem.
